This project is about the creation of an identity and anti-counterfeiting packaging for a bottle of champagne. To do this, together with a team, I decided to apply different types of security to this packaging. The box is made with a relief finish possible thanks to a cliché owned by the company. Inside it, placed on a hologram there is a metal pin, representing a symbol linked to the Sun King (Louis XIII), which can then be applied through a magnet directly on the bottle. The pin is freed from the box by removing a sticker that, in addition to sealing the box, releases once reapplied the words “void”. On the back of the box, there are two additional levels of security. The first consists in the numbering of the bottle, this is invisible at first glance, in fact it is revealed through the heat of the fingers, thanks to a thermochemical ink. The second is an encrypted two-dimensional QR code, readable only through the use of a proprietary app. In addition to these security tools, we have decided to apply some gold hot-foil finishing on the box and bottle.
